The University of Georgia Libraries' Cataloging Department is responsible for the cataloging, classification, and subject analysis of materials in all formats and languages which the Libraries acquire.
The Department participates in CONSER, NACO, and SACO and has OCLC Enhance status for books, sound recordings, and visual materials. Our staff annually catalogs over 40,000 titles.
The Department has six sections: Acquired Cataloging, Authorities, Database Maintenance, Monographs Original Cataloging, Music Cataloging, and Serials Cataloging. To learn more about any of these sections or for section-specific contact information, click here.
